What this blog is

Most of what is written about Saju in English is either a one-paragraph summary or a sales page. K-Saju Journal exists to fill the gap in between: explanations long enough to actually teach something, short enough to read on a commute.

We publish on a few recurring themes:

• Saju 101 — the Four Pillars, the Day Master, the ten gods, and how a chart is put together from a birth date and time.
• The five elements — wood, fire, earth, metal, water: what each one looks like in a person, and what balance between them means.
• The Eastern zodiac — the twelve animals, their cycles, and where the popular version diverges from the traditional one.
• Comparisons — how Saju differs from Chinese BaZi, Western astrology, tarot, and MBTI, without pretending one is objectively better.
• Everyday application — using a chart as a tool for self-reflection: work, relationships, timing, temperament.

Who is behind it

K-Saju Journal is published by the team behind k-saju.me, an online service that calculates your Four Pillars from your birth details and turns them into a personalized reading. The blog is the free, open side of that work — you never need an account here, and every article is readable in full without paying for anything.

We will happily tell you that we would like you to try the reading service. That is the business model, along with the ads on these pages. It is also why we would rather the articles be genuinely useful on their own: a post that only works as bait is a bad post.

How the articles are made

Topics are chosen from questions readers actually ask about Saju. Drafts are produced with the help of AI writing tools and then run through an editorial check — sources, internal consistency, and whether the piece says anything the first search result does not — before a post goes live. Where a claim comes from classical Saju theory rather than modern interpretation, we try to say so in the text.

If you find an error, we want to know about it. Corrections go to support@k-saju.me and we will fix the article rather than quietly leave it.
